Scottish Veterans Awards – Results 2022

We are excited to announce that Lairds have been recognised as The Veteran Owned Business of the Year, by the Scottish Veteran Awards!
As Mark put it at the ceremony, none of the achievements of our business would be possible without all of our amazing team! From top to bottom, past and present, the Lairds family strive for excellence and consistently surpass expectations!

On behalf of the Lairds staff, we would like to thank the Scottish Veteran Awards for having us and congratulate all other nominees and winners. Some of the success stories are truly inspiring and we are very grateful to be one of many amazing veteran owned businesses!

Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards Finalists 2022

We at Lairds are delighted to announce that the bossman, Mark Laird, has been shortlisted as a finalist for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ from the Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards!

When the email came in Mark was ecstatic! He’s in great company with his friends from Primrose Path Tattoo Society, Andrew McGuire and Terry Lowe, who have been nominated for ‘Role Model of the Year’!

Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards – Results 2022

Mark and Jo were invited along to the third annual Scottish Ex-Forces in Business awards. Now while Mark was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year, he did not win. However, as Mark puts it these awards are not about who wins or loses, they are a celebration of the achievements of the veteran community!
You could be cynical and see this as Mark being a gracious loser, but in truth this could not be more genuine. We have said it time and time again that all the nominees for these awards, and other similar ceremonies, are a testament to the veteran community. A community which Lairds are proud to belong to! Congratulations to all the winners and fellow nominees!
