How we delivered a mission-critical AV training environment for one of the world’s busiest airlines.
We start by listening. We conduct a thorough site survey to understand your business goals, user workflows, and the unique acoustics of your space.
We don’t use cookie-cutter templates. Our engineers draw a schematic for your building, selecting reliable hardware that integrates cleanly with your existing infrastructure.
Our certified technicians handle the fit-out with military precision, working alongside architects and electricians to deliver on time and compliant with safety standards.
We don’t just hand over the keys. We train your staff on how to use the system effortlessly and offer ongoing support packages to ensure zero downtime.
Executive boardrooms, huddle spaces, and reliable video conferencing (Teams/Zoom) that eliminate technical hiccups.
Create the perfect atmosphere with zoned audio, digital signage, and automated lighting for hotels, bars, and gyms.
Interactive learning spaces and lecture theatres designed for engagement, hybrid learning, and ease of use for staff.
Crystal-clear audio and projection systems that respect the aesthetics of your sanctuary while ensuring every word is heard.

Yes. We work from drawings, issue CAD schematics and coordinate with M&E contractors. The aim is that the AV is resolved on the drawing rather than negotiated on site, and that what gets installed is as close to invisible as the design intends.
You call one number. Support is covered by an agreement set up before handover: remote diagnosis first, attendance on site where that will not fix it. The level is agreed against what the room is actually for, because a boardroom that hosts client meetings is not a break room.
Often, yes. Modern control and video conferencing can frequently be retrofitted to existing cabling and displays, which avoids a full replacement. We survey first, and we will tell you where the existing infrastructure is the limiting factor rather than work around a problem you would be better replacing.
Not unless there is a reason for it to. Displays, control processors and signage players go on their own VLAN with routed access only to what they need. That stops a compromised media player becoming a route into the business, and keeps AV traffic off the network your staff depend on. Where your IT team has a standard, we work to theirs.
Most of the intrusive work is containment and cabling, and that is the part we plan around you. A boardroom or training room is usually done in one block, with the room out of use for a defined period rather than in and out over several weeks. We give you that period before you commit, not afterwards.
That is the test we design to. One obvious way to start a meeting, one obvious way to share a screen, and controls that do not change between rooms. We hand over documentation and run a session with the people who will actually use it, including whoever gets asked when something goes wrong.
From concept to completion, Lairds AV is Scotland’s trusted technology partner.
