Send us your floor plans. We mark where everything goes.

A scaled layout showing speaker, screen, containment and network positions, drawn before first fix while changes still cost nothing.

Send us the floor plans and we send back a scaled layout with the technology marked on it: where the speakers go, where the screen wall sits, what has to be in the ceiling void, and where the cable runs and network points have to land.

The value is in the timing. On site, the expensive discoveries are nearly always positional – the screen wall on the side of the room with the window, a media wall built before anyone worked out how the amplifier gets air, containment that will not take what has to go through it. Decided on a drawing those cost nothing. Decided after first fix they cost a great deal.

What the layout marks

  • Speaker and screen positionsSet out against the room, the seating and the viewing distance, not dropped onto the plan evenly.
  • Containment and cable routesWhat has to be in before the plaster goes on, and what size it needs to be.
  • Network and power pointsWhere they go and how many, so the sockets are in the wall before the wall is finished.
  • Equipment location and ventilationWhere the rack or the kit lives, how it is reached, and how it gets rid of its heat.

What it costs

Questions about the Design Layout

What do you need from me?

A floor plan with dimensions on it is ideal – an architect’s drawing, a surveyor’s plan, or an estate agent’s plan with the room sizes confirmed. A measured sketch works if that is what exists. Tell us what each room is for and roughly what you are hoping to spend, because both change what gets drawn.

What do I actually get back?

A scaled layout with the technology marked on it, and a short written note explaining the decisions – why the screen is on that wall, why the containment is that size. It is detailed enough to hand to an electrician or a joiner and have them build to it.

Can I use the layout with another installer?

Yes. It is drawn to be built from, not to lock you in. Some people take it to their own trades and some ask us to carry on – both are fine, and the layout is the same either way.

How long does it take?

Usually within a week of us having the plans and your answers. Complicated properties and anything listed take longer, and we will tell you so before you commit rather than afterwards.

When in a build should this happen?

Before first fix, and ideally before the electrical layout is signed off. The later it happens the more of it becomes a compromise around decisions already made – which is still useful, but costs more to act on.
