Completed work in private houses, estates, bars, restaurants, boardrooms and commercial buildings. Every project starts with the infrastructure: structured cabling, enterprise networking and cyber security. What the client sees and uses is built on top of it.
Four kinds of building, one method. Choose the one closest to yours.

Owners and their architects ask for the same three things: nothing on show, one control for the whole house, and a system that still works when the person who commissioned it is away. We are usually appointed at RIBA Stage 2 or 3, before first fix, because that is when the decisions that are expensive to reverse get made.
Whole-house control in 2021, then a top-floor cinema in 2025, in a listed house
Lighting, distributed audio and control across a large family home
Motion simulator and display built into a dedicated games space
An inherited Control4 system rescued and kept running

A simulator room built into a private house
Hospitality and commercial systems have to be heard and not seen, and survive a Saturday night. Zoned audio, video distribution, conferencing and secure guest Wi-Fi, designed with the interior architect and installed around the fit-out programme. Every link is tested and the results are handed over.
Building-wide audio, 4K video and secure network for William Grant & Sons
Restaurant audio and video at the St James Quarter site
Classroom AV and network for an engineering academy
AV throughout the new hospice, with Microtech Group
Full AV installation in the charity’s new building
A podcast studio built into a commercial space
Some clients need the drawings, the specification and an honest opinion rather than an installation. We produce infrastructure designs, acoustic and sound-level surveys, and advice to architects and developers, and we say so when a scheme should not go ahead.
Technology design package for an Art Deco venue
Consultancy for a gym that works as hard as it looks
Charity balls, movie nights in a castle, awards evenings and community buildings. The same engineering, on a tighter clock, often for nothing. It is how a family business stays part of the place it works in.
Supporting the Hospice on its biggest night of the year
Our own pop-up cinema in one of Scotland’s most historic castles
Event sound, lighting and video for the annual charity ball
At the St Enoch Centre we ran acoustic and sound-level tests for Thai Express and advised them not to proceed. We lost the job and kept the client. If you want that kind of advice before anything is built, tell us about the building rather than the kit list: the programme, the drawings, and who else is on the team.
